Mount McKinley Massif

Mount McKinley, also known as Denali (the Great One), is one of the most impressive and awe inspiring mountains in the world — part of the reason is that the mountain seems to raise directly from its surroundings so you see nearly 20,000 feet of it.  Wow!  Included here are some photos taken below and above this massive mountain range.  Another of my “peak moments in life” was the day Curtis, Peggy, Ed and I flew over Mount McKinley’s summit in a very small prop plane.View of some of the mountains that make up the Mount McKinley Massif from the Reflection Pond, Wonder Lake – Denali National Park, Alaska
