Birds

Among my most enjoyable subjects to photograph are birds.  They are a delight to observe — hunting, eating (even when they’re scavenging), fetching food for their young, courting, singing, sunbathing, or just flying about.  One of the reasons I enjoy traveling in East Africa so very much is the abundance of birds found there.  Below are some of my favorite bird photographs.
